The system consists of two main components:

  1. A Concrete Reclaimer
  2. A Filter Press

Concrete Reclaimer

  • Processes returned (unused) concrete and washout water from agitator trucks.
  • Separates aggregates (sand and gravel) from slurry.
  • Aggregates are washed and recovered for reuse in new concrete.
  • Slurry water containing fine cement particles is forwarded to the filter press.

Filter Press

  • Processes the cementitious slurry from the reclaimer.
  • High pressure separates water from cement fines, producing a solid ‘filter cake’.
  • Clean water is collected for reuse; the dry filter cake is disposed of or reused.
